FREE CITIZENSHIP HANDBOOKS
The office of Senator Deborah Ortiz is offering handbooks for the naturalization process free of charge--the languages available are English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Hmong, and Russian. This book has test questions as well as other preparatory information about the citizenship test. For a copy, call (916)324-4937.

McNair Scholarships available!
McNair scholarships are available for students that can maintain a 3.0 GPA their junior year of college. This program is designed to keep the disadvantaged student in school instead of dropping out in the face of adversity.
